My plan is in effect I currently have 56 minis in the going pile and have decided to keep the rest since a decent amount is already painted up and there is a good amount that is close to completion or at least partly done.

next step will be picking out any close to completion units and getting them done going to start small then work my way up. I’m thinking the archers will be first to be finished at this stage.
Hey everyone just a little update with where I am with the hobby at the moment.
The last couple months I’ve been falling further and further out of the hobby, for quite a few reasons, I’ve had plenty to keep me busy without it and I got tired of the gaming side of things when I’d only get a few games in a month and most of the time I’d be explaining rules it got a little frustrating towards the end so I decided to take a break for a little while.
In the last week or so I’ve been starting to get the urge to paint again and get some stuff happening but every time it comes to the crunch I just look at my vast amount of unpainted stuff and lose interest again.
So I’ve came up with a possible solution I’ll surely be trying it, I’ve decided to get rid of a large chunk of my army I’ve estimated I have well over 2000pts worth of Empire models and I want to bring that bellow 2000pts my goal is 1500pts since that’s the largest games I ever get to play, with maybe 1 or 2 units over that so I can have a little variety or boost my points if needed.
Terrain making is another thing I would like to get back into a little more but I unfortunately don’t have a lot of room in my current living quarters so a few small or easy to store things will likely be the most to come out of the terrain side of things.

If you’re wondering where we got the rules for the unofficial warbands, we got them from a site called mordheimer its a great resource has plenty of different options for warbands and all seem really balanced with the official warbands.
Another successful Mordheim Monday after a week off, I redeemed myself a little this week with getting a second win but i also suffered a 5th loss, all the warbands are progressing nicely with the exception of the Orcs and Goblins who have just shot above the rest and are currently the #1 Warband by far.
I got some pictures and I’ll chuck em up in the week.
On another note I got my hands on a GW Fortress pretty cheap so that’s added some cool terrain to my games.
Few shots from my game the other night, unfortunately it got cut short which was probably for the best no my side, bad rolls after bad rolls, my wizard exploded 2 Helblaster killed I think 5? Saurus in 3 rounds of shooting, the only thing keeping me alive was my opponent rolling not so great for the magic pool and me being able to pull off a couple of critical dispells.
1 Highlight from the game was my Greatswords killing all but 2 skinks in a regiment during 1 round of combat.
Our armies were really too small to include Lords, so out of curiosity with the Slann and for the hell of it we decided 1 Lord choice each was fair.
A bunch of Terrain I was working on today, the hill at the back I got real cheap in an auction off ebay so i decided to throw some base colours on it while I worked on my 2 new wooded sections.
I made them using a Foam Core base, and a tree kit I picked up and wanted to try from my local hobby store, the ones on the left are unfortunately fixed to the base which is why I made it a long, almost line of trees so movement in and out isn’t a big deal, the ones on the right however pull off their base, so I can pop the trees out when moving units into the woods to make it easier to measure and move, then once the woods are vacated I can pop them back into place.
Tomorrow I’ll be flocking the wooded areas and painting the grey of the stones on the hill section.
Middenheimers Rush to defend against some Orcs in the latest Mordheim Monday.

Would of got more but wanted to focus on the game, been using this cool sight called Mordheimer to get rules for a whole range of different warbands, they have the official warbands rules up as well as some unofficial warbands and some experimental warbands rules, its great.
So the second Mordheim Monday was last night and it was really fun, I only got one game in which I lost and only 1 other got played, as one of the players was new to the group and had to set their Warband up and another decided to change Warband types.
Again it’s left me hanging out for next Monday, I will probably grab some photo’s next week.
